Peter has over 20 years of experience delivering on the most challenging embedded software systems and is well versed in the latest bleeding edge technologies, scaling from micro-kernels to enterprise implementations. Prior to co-founding Code Edge, Peter held the position of chief architect at QNX Software Systems. Peter was involved in all aspects of the design and development of their product line including, but not limited to: kernel, device drivers, subsystems, middleware and development tools. Peter is intimate in his knowledge of the history, but maintains an eye toward futures.
Stephen McPolin, VP R&D, Architect and Lead System Designer
Steve has over 20 years' working experience; designing, developing and delivering system software targeting everything 8 bit MPUs to 64 bit by 64-way multiprocessors.Steve has delivered system-level code ranging from drivers to kernels, instrumentation to tools, protocols to file systems. Notably, Steve's resume includes positions at: RACAL, as Kernel Architect at QNX and subsequently on the core Solaris architecture team at Sun. Steve’s main expertise is in storage, communications, graphics and consumer electronic systems, but is expert in all matters embedded.
Martin Cocking, VP Engineering
Martin has over twenty years of experience producing high-performance systems such as Blu-ray systems, high definition graphics subsystems, real-time vehicle data collection, telemetry and immersive simulation-based training systems. Martin has held R&D and executive engineering management positions among Matrox, QNX, Sun Microsystems, Broadcom and CMLabs Simulations.
Randy Hughes, CEO
Randy has near two decades of embedded system and semiconductor experience. Several years beyond his recognition as a Top 40 Under 40 entrepreneur, Randy brings deep management, sales and strategic alliance knowledge in partnering with embedded systems and semiconductor developers, globally.
